Kuthu vilakku vs kamachi vilakku vs agal diya

Agal diya / agal vilakku
A low, open oil lamp with a round reservoir and one or more wick lips. This is the everyday Karthigai and morning-evening lamp. It is also the easiest wholesale return gift because it is compact.

Use it when you need many pieces, a low gift budget, or a lamp that sits on a steel plate without a tall stem.
Kamachi / kamatchi vilakku
A standing lamp associated with Goddess Kamakshi, usually with a stem, a deep oil cup and a decorative top. Families light this as a pair in the puja room. It is taller than an agal and ships as a more fragile carton.

Use it for home altars, wedding gifts to the couple, and temple counters — not as a 300-guest return gift unless the budget is high.
Kuthu vilakku / peacock and Kerala samai
“Kuthu vilakku” is used loosely for standing multi-wick or stem lamps, including peacock and Kerala samai styles. Height and wick count change the oil volume and the packing size. Look at the centimetre height on the product title, not only the word “vilakku”.
Kuber deepam

Product titles and the Product details tab state the metal. Do not assume copper or panchaloha unless the SKU says so.
Do you sell oil or wicks?
We sell the metal lamp. Confirm accessories on the product page or on WhatsApp.
